As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated and creative Junior Marketing Specialist to join our team at our Head Office in Chippenham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in B2B marketing within the technology sector.
The Role
The Junior Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting and executing Elevate Cloud's marketing strategy. You will be responsible for maintaining our online presence, creating engaging content, supporting SEO initiatives, gathering customer success stories, and monitoring competitor activity.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of content creation, digital marketing, website management, and customer engagement.
What You'll Be Doing
Marketing Strategy Support
- Assist in implementing Elevate Cloud's marketing strategy and campaigns
- Help identify opportunities to improve brand awareness and lead generation
- Support the planning and execution of marketing initiatives throughout the year
Social Media Management
- Create, schedule, and publish content across company social media channels including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms
- Develop engaging posts that promote Elevate Cloud's services, customer successes, industry insights, and company culture
- Monitor engagement and provide recommendations to improve performance
Website & SEO
- Create and update SEO-focused blog articles to improve website rankings and visibility
- Optimise website content using SEO best practices
- Monitor website performance and ensure content remains accurate, relevant, and up to date
- Identify and report website issues, broken links, or content improvements
Customer Reviews & Case Studies
- Engage with customers to request Google Reviews, testimonials, and feedback
- Coordinate the creation of customer case studies and success stories
- Work with internal teams and customers to gather information and produce compelling marketing content
Competitor & Market Research
- Monitor competitor marketing activity, websites, social media, and campaigns
- Identify industry trends and marketing opportunities
- Provide regular feedback and recommendations based on competitor analysis
Content Creation
- Assist with the creation of marketing materials including blogs, social media content, newsletters, presentations, and promotional campaigns
- Maintain brand consistency across all communications
Reporting & Analytics
- Track and report on marketing performance metrics
- Analyse website traffic, social media engagement, and campaign results
- Suggest improvements based on data and insights

What We're Looking For
Essential Skills and Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Previous marketing experience, internship, apprenticeship, or relevant qualification
- Experience using WordPress or similar content management systems
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools
- Experience creating graphics using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Interest in technology, cloud services, IT, or telecommunications
